I didn’t really expect to take a pet home on that first visit to the shelter, but when they opened the cage door for this lovely little tortie gal, she jumped right into my arms and never left. We were best buddies from day one. She’s made so many meeting cameos that I refer to her as my assistant. I can’t believe the impact she’s made on me in the few months she’s been with me, but now I can’t imagine my life without her little tiny squeak-meows. <3
