“Hi, I’m Wags. I’ve had a very eventful year. In Feb. 2020, I was hit by a car in Georgia. I had 2 broken hind legs and a broken pelvis, which required surgery. In March 2020, I came to NEAS. While still recovering from surgery, I was diagnosed with heartworm. The great doctors at NEAS worked hard to help me also recover from heartworm. In June 2020, Celia at NEAS matched me with my new mom and it was love at 1st sight. I am so happy to have a forever home and I am living my best life. I love my new mom and my extended family and friends. They all love me, bring me toys, and tell me how handsome I am. I’ve also made lots of dog friends. I love going for walks with them and playing with them. My mom says I’m a funny guy and that I make her laugh at least once a day. I am forever grateful to the great people at NEAS for bringing me from Georgia and helping me find my forever home. I also want to thank the foster family who cared for me while I was recuperating.”
